Rather than spending the day following the highway from viewpoint to viewpoint, leave the road for a substantial walking section through rural Quan Ba — village lanes, cultivated slopes, farm paths and limestone countryside. Lung Tam may be incorporated as a cultural stop before reconnecting with the local driver for the onward transfer to Yen Minh.
