Ha Giang Trekking is operated by Hanoi Travel Mate Co., Ltd., a licensed Vietnamese travel company.
Trekking in Ha Giang involves steep terrain, fast-changing weather, and remote villages. Your guide sets pace and route decisions based on conditions on the day.
- Weather-first decisions — we adjust timing, change route segments, or turn back when needed.
- Pacing and rest — breaks are part of the day, especially in heat or on ridge ascents.
- What to bring — footwear with grip, rain layers, and warm layers for ridge routes.
If we cancel your departure for safety or weather before you travel, we offer a full refund or reschedule. Personal accident and trekking insurance is included on published hub programmes where listed in Includes — not on extended journeys or custom expeditions. If you're unsure which route fits your fitness or the season, enquire with your dates and we'll recommend the safest option.
